Dear KISS, I am writing this letter on behalf of an extraordinary woman who died on February 8th 2008 after a 23 year battle with cancer. My aunt was the most kind, compassionate, fun-loving and truly individual person that I have ever known and, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that she was most definitely the number one KISS fan on the planet! I’m 31 years old and my aunt, Laura Rhyann Mercury, was a fan before I was born… From the time I can remember, I was indoctrinated with the knowledge that KISS was the greatest band EVER and it was accepted as the norm that one could and should go to any lengths in order to see, hear, and/or experience anything and everything related to the band. Although she never had much money, my aunt chalked up countless hours camped out on sidewalks or hanging on the telephone and spent thousands of dollars to ensure that she didn’t miss out; at last count, she had seen KISS live 39 TIMES!!! Last week, my cousin and I faced the daunting and emotional task of sorting through her things and what an experience that was! There was a set of metal trunks that travelled with her wherever she went and it was amazing when we finally got into them; an Aladdin’s cave of KISS memorabilia collected over the last 35 years ~ KISS banners, dolls, thermos flasks, trivia games, vintage T-shirts, posters, concert programs, guitar picks etc…. During the final week of my dear auntie’s life, the family and nurses worked together to ensure that she had her headphones in and rotated her entire collection of KISS music whenever we weren’t there whispering in her ear. Less than a week after she died, we had an intimate celebration of her life at the park and she would have laughed to see us dolled up in her vintage Kiss T-shirts (even my 80 year old grandmother!) and playing your music loud and proud! On behalf of all of my family, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the joy that you so clearly brought to my aunt for more than half of her lifetime. I just wanted you to know that you too have lost a woman worth remembering and I hope that you will always remember Laura Rhyann Mercury. Thank you, Laurelin Wainwright laurelinw@hotmail.com .

Dear Kiss, I'm 36 years old and since the Lick it up Tour, I never missed you when you were in France. Then, I must say that the 1996's tour - the first concert whith make-up that I could see - was a dream come true, and it was all the same in 98. In 98, I was a young Doctor, I was also a guitarist (I had a Gibson Les Paul "sunburst", like who you know...). Now, things have changed. I lost my left arm in a motorbike accident, and so I lost my job, my girlfriend, and of course playin' rock&roll guitar. But, because of you guys, because of kiss, because of rock&roll, because of sport and my love "to be" I took a new start in life : you told me that if we believe in r&r, so we have to live to wine, and that's what I did. By now, I struggled with the elements and became an orthophonist, and a r&r singer, and I tell you : life is beautiful. Last december, I sing for 400 persons. What other other song could I sing but R&r all nite ? So dear Kiss, you're a big part in my life, and without you, I can't say things would be so cool today, I can't say how I would have fight the facts. Today, I read on kissonline that you'll come in Paris in June : it's the best new of the century !!!! Yeah, more than the other times, it's a dream come true, so many many many many thanks. With all my respect for you, Gods of rock&roll, I sand you a kiss from Paris, France (you'll love our foud, our old stones.... and our girls) Greg, from Paris
Thank You !

To all the members of Kiss, especially Paul and Gene: My name is Brian and I am a native of Brooklyn,N.Y. I am now 44yrs. old and have been a KISS fan since the late \'70\'s when i discovered \"KISS ORIGINALS\" at a Sam Goody\'s in N.Y.C.!!!!I would just like to say that i have an 8yr old son Jordan who adores you and emulates the band all the time.he watches \"Kiss My Ass\" all the time and \"Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park\" as well as my vast recordings and bootleg videos. We bought him an electric guitar and a drum kit and if you didn\'t know what noise was......!!!!If i hear Black Diamond (My Favorite) again sung by Jordan it will be #412!!!!!Anyway i grew up listening to you and now my son is also, which i think is really cool. What i really want to know is when you are coming back to N.Y.C.so I can take him to the show.I really love you guys and from a fellow Jewish male:Lechaim (hope it is spelled right).
